Mr. Shivayogi Kalasad is a retired IAS officer who holds an Executive Management from Oxford University, UK & B.E from NIT, Karnataka.

Service in Government:

Principle Secretary – Mr. Shivayogi has established himself as a visionary leader in policy formulation and implementation of policies of the Government of Karnataka, India.
Chairman, Board of Directors of Government Companies – In his tenure, Mr. Shivayogi excelled in guiding organizations in setting goals and strategies, negotiated & resolved conflicts between stakeholders, and contributed to values, goals & strategic vision to the Government Companied of Karnataka, India.
Chairman and Managing Director – He championed the introduction of innovative methods, practices, and systems to reduce the turnaround time. His close work with organizational leadership and the board of directors guided the operational strategy of Bengaluru KSRTC to new heights.
State Commissioner – Mr. Shivayogi successfully implemented the Involuntary Resettlement Scheme of Asia’s biggest Rehabilitation and Resettlement project in Bagalkot, Karnataka.
Deputy Commissioner of District – Mr. Shivayogi demonstrated exceptional command in maintaining law and order in Bijapur, Karnataka. He ensured peaceful conduct of general elections from Panchayats to Parliament.
Chief Executive Officer – He successfully executed various schemes concerning Rural development in Tumkur district, Karnataka. Beyond these roles, Mr. Shivayogi Kalasad contributed to multiple government organizations, where he has served as Human Resource Director, Commissioner, University Registrar, Assistant Commissioner & Project Administrator in different regions.

Dr. H. Shashidhar

Born, brought up, and educated in Bangalore and Mysore, Dr.H.Shashidhar holds a Ph. D in Development Studies from Mysore University, M.Phil., M.Sc., and B.Sc., (Hons) degrees in Geology from Bangalore University.

Service in Government:

With a long, distinguished, and unblemished career of nearly 44 years behind him in the Governments of the State and Union, Autonomous Educational and Research Institutions including the private sector, Dr. H. Shashidhar held very sensitive, critical, complex, and important posts. To name a few, Additional Commissioner (Intelligence), Department of Commercial Taxes; Commissioner for Agriculture; Inspector General of Registration and Commissioner of Stamps; Secretary to Government, DPAR, etc. He also, worked as an observer for the Election Commission of India in UP, West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, and Madhya Pradesh States.

Post-retirement services:

● CEO, Brigade Foundation, Bangalore since June 2018. Brigade Foundation, a not-for-profit trust has been serving the cause of education, health, and Community development including several other welfare measures.

● Member, Karnataka Fourth State Finance Commission (2015 – 2018).

● State Level consultant and Coordinator in the Human Development Division, Planning Department, GOK. For the first time in the country, brought out Human Development Reports at the State, District, Taluk, and GP levels ,including performance reports for all the Urban Local Bodies in Karnataka.

● Secretary to the Official 5th and 6th Pay Committees, Government of Karnataka, which revised the pay scales of over six lakh employees.

Publications:

Widely travelled in India and abroad, Dr. Shashidhar has published over 50 articles and papers in local, national, and international papers, magazines, and journals.
Vineet served Royal Calcutta Turf Club, one of the most prestigious thoroughbred horse racing institutions in the world from 1980 till 2003, having been appointed as its Secretary & CEO in the year 1993. He was later invited to join Bengal Ambuja Metro Dev. Ltd, Kolkata in 2003 as their CEO. While in Kolkata, he was actively involved in CII, ICC, Young Leaders Forum, Bengal Chamber of Commerce, etc.He was also the Member, Governing Body of Concern for Calcutta, a leading NGO in West Bengal.

MRICS Director, Brigade Hospitality:

Vineet was then invited to join Brigade Group in 2006. He is presently the Director- Brigade Hospitality, which develops and oversees the management of Hotels, Clubs, and Convention Centers.  Presently, Brigade Group has eight operating hotels with two more hotels under development. Under his leadership, Brigade Hospitality secured 1st rank among the Top Mid-size Great Workplaces in India for 2021 and continues to be ranked among the top Mid-size Great Places to work in India.

MD, World Trade Center:

Vineet also serves as Managing Director of WTC Trades & Projects Pvt. Ltd, which manages World Trade Centers in Bangalore, Kochi, and Chennai. The company also manages the group’s facility management business. Brigade Group has plans to develop three more WTCs in Hyderabad, Thiruvananthapuram, and Devanahalli.

Senior Vice President, Bangalore Chamber of Industry & Commerce:

Vineet is the Senior Vice President of the Bangalore Chamber of Industry & Commerce. He was the longest-serving Chairman and is presently a Mentor of its Expert Committee on Hospitality, Travel & Tourism. He is a Member of the CII Tourism Committee and is also the Vice President of the Karnataka Tourism Society set up to promote tourism and travel in the State in association with the Government of Karnataka. Vineet is the Chairman – Business Club Member Advisory Council of the World Trade Centers Association, New York, and also a Member of its APAC Regional Advisory Council.
