The progress of societies and economies hinges on the creation, dissemination, and utilization of knowledge. To achieve this, it’s imperative to have a population that is both educated and skilled. Brigade BCIC Skill Development Academy is on the onset to create manpower that is skilled enough to build a stronger nation by offering state-of-the-art courses on employee training & development, essential communication skills development, basic management skills training, self-management skills program, job readiness skills workshops, and the like.
To give an organized approach to such a noble vision, Brigade Foundation is in the process of setting up a Skill Development Academy with necessary state-of-the-art infrastructure, initially in the fields of construction, Retail, Tourism & Hospitality, and Manufacturing sectors at its 4.5 acres of land at KIADB, High tech Defence and Aerospace park, Bengaluru. With this academy, we will be actively promoting the Skill India Mission of the Government of India.
BCIC, Bengaluru, has evinced interest in collaborating as a Knowledge Partner in this initiative. While the infrastructure set up at the proposed park is in progress, Brigade BCIC Skill Development Academy is using existing infrastructure spaces (unutilized spaces) in the existing Project sites, malls, or clubs.

Brigade BCIC Skill Development Academy is affiliated with the Construction Skills Development Council of India (CSDCI) and the Tourism and Hospitality Sector Skills Council of India (THSC). This successful collaboration is all set to redefine the life of the Indian youth by offering professional training sessions for employees thus making all-round training & development accessible. They also equip them with the nuances of small-scale industries training in Bangalore so that they will be able to build a prospective future of their own.

The Brigade Foundation was established on 13th July 2003. It is a not-for-profit trust that promotes and sustains Education, Health, and Community Development in Karnataka. It’s two-decade journey represents far more than the mere passage of time. It embodies a legacy that embraces the shared responsibility of caring within our institution and the community we live in. The benefits of the Trust are open to all persons irrespective of caste, creed, sex or religion in words and deeds. Registered in July 17, 2003, this Trust enjoys recognition under 80G of the IT Act, 1961. Advancing Quality Healthcare Brigade Foundation has partnered with St. John’s Medical College and Hospital to establish the St. John’s Health Centre at Brigade Meadows on Kanakapura Main Road. Additionally, we have collaborated to launch a comprehensive 100-bed hospital at Brigade El Dorado project near the Bangalore International Airport. Committed to serving the underprivileged, the Foundation aims to provide accessible and quality healthcare, addressing challenges and supporting those in need. This collaboration represents a significant step toward enhancing medical facilities and positively impacting the lives of individuals residing in North Bangalore.

Delivering holistic learning
We follow a two-tier model primarily focused on:
1. Understanding of basic core concepts, related functions, and necessary skills.
2. Practical applications through workshop sessions and on-the-job learning. We believe in the holistic learning experience of students and thus give equal weight to life skills and behavioral skills for all our students.

Community Development & CSR

Empowering Underprivileged Communities
Brigade Foundation has undertaken numerous CSR initiatives. Our focus is on empowering underprivileged youth, with a special emphasis on women. We have planned and initiated skill and vocational training programs in the hospitality, construction and retail sectors.
– Establishing an Institute of Skill Development and Training on 5 acres of land.
– Donating desks and tables to government schools and constructing an open auditorium at the Government Higher Primary School in Uttarhalli, Bangalore.
– Supporting endowments for scholarships and gold medals at Bengaluru University.
– Supporting organizations like Amara Soundarya Foundation and Saare Tare Zameen Par Trust, contributing to their initiatives for the construction of classrooms and for digital education.
